- We can't wait for Otis to go through the training to become a pet therapy pug.
- He has to be 2 years old and undergo lots of training. It's going to be a busy year for us.
- Kind Hearts Behavior Center
- Otis has already had a puppy class, but he will begin his first in a series of classes this fall to become a pet therapy pug. His first class will be Family Manners through the Kind Hearts Behavior Center.
- Whitesburg Animal Hospital
- Whitesburg Animal Hospital has very caring and professional staff.
- Beans is currently undergoing chemotherapy there for lymphoma.
- The staff is so gentle with Beans, we know he is in good hands when he goes for his weekly treatment.
- Animal Emergency Clinic
- Unfortunately, we had a pug who was hit by a car. We were just getting ready to cross the road and Gus stepped off the curb too soon. The car did not stop, but someone else was kind enough to take us to our car. The Clinic did everything they could to help our Gus, but his internal injuries were just too much. The Clinic staff were very compassionate and that helped us through our terrible grief. We will never forget their kindness.

- I saw this awesome organization in action at the Children's Hospital in Birmingham. They brought the sweetest dogs to visit the children who were extremely ill. The children, many still hooked up to their I.V.'s, came to the lobby to see the pet therapy dogs. The dogs were wonderful and patient with the children who wanted to hug and pet them. What a wonderful organization! I can't wait for Otis to join the fun here in Huntsville.
