Happy Tummy

Located at Lowe Mill, everything on the menu looks yummy, but be sure to try some of our favorites:


• a sandwich called The King that includes crunchy peanut butter and bananas on bacon FredBread. 
• Wash The King down with the strawberry limeade frozen juice and your tummy will definitely be happy. 

On our next visit, we definitely want to try a sandwich called Squeal Like a Pig. This sandwich has chipotle pork, bacon, ham, and baconnaise on bacon FredBread. What pug can resist the wild call of all that bacon?

Chef Will the Palate

• Offering up innovative vegetarian and gluten-free dishes, Chef Will the Palate was named one of the best eateries in Huntsville in 2011.

Mudtown
 

• This is one of our all-time favorite Birmingham restaurants. It is very casual with indoor and outdoor seating. 
• Our menu favorites include the fried green tomato sandwich, sweet potato chips with blue cheese dip, and the shrimp and grits. The martinis there aren't bad either. 

Below the Radar Brewery


We are anxiously awaiting the opening of this new brewery and restaurant in Huntsville. After all, Dave knows one of the co-owners, Martin Cousins.

Nava Restaurant

• We went to this trendy Mexican restaurant in Atlanta. The food was delicious, but the seating was awful.
• We arrived early and were seated in the middle of a long couch/small table arrangement. Although we were the only early diners, the next couples to arrive were seated on either side of us. It was difficult to enjoy our intimate experience while trying to avoid listening to conversations on either side of our table and looking out into the empty restaurant. 

Urban Stacks

• We enjoyed eating at Urban Stacks after going on a kayak tour of downtown Chattanooga. The burgers, including the fiesta veggie burger, were delicious.
